and.......GO!

Ok so alot has happened since the last time I posted anythin.  I know I'm sorry I'm a horrible person!  Lol!  Remmi is comin along really nice at the walk and the trot.  He has his frame, carriage, impulsion, and headset 99% of the way down packed.  We just started workin on the canter last night.  So come to find out, Remmi does have a right lead.  But, he won't give it to you unless you are in jockey position when you ask for it.  So we are startin there.  His canter is REALLY fast but we will work on slowin it down soon.  We have also started workin on goin over jumps straight and steady as opposed to goin at them like a drunk sailor.  Lol!  We had our first horse show last month.  He did really good especially for it bein his first.  He threw a little buck when we were warmin up but that was it.  The judge had somethin against us and I'm not sure what.  We went into six classes.  All of which walk/trot.  We took fourth place in half of them.  So not bad his first time out.  We have another horse show in a couple of weeks.  We are enterin in the same classes.  Hopefully we will do better!  Last night in our lesson I don't know what horse I was ridin but it sure as hell wasn't Remmi!  We were workin on goin at jumps straight down a double line.  He took the first one way to big cantered and bolted out of the second one and attempted to jump the standard of the second jump instead.  Keep in mind that standards are like 4'6"!  I personally went 6' in the air I think!  I lost my stirrups as we came down and as soon as we landed he took off!  I got him back to the walk and here is the converstations that followed.....

Christina: "Give me that horse!"

Me: "I'm good!"

Christina: "No your not!"

Me: "...Ok..." *hands over horse.*

Mom: "Go get your helmet!"

Me: "Its at the house."

Mom: *blink blink*.

Zack: "Baby!" *runs up and hugs me*

Me:  "Baby I'm fine.  That was fun!!!!!  Ooooohhhh I'm on an adrenaline high!!!!"

I thought it was fun!  Everyone else thought I was gonna die.  I'm not sure why though....I landed and stayed in the saddle!  Pics comin soon!
